Day 8 of 20: Photoshop Keyboard Shortcuts – Deslecting a Selection and Bringing it Back

Today’s shortcut won’t take long to digest but I guarantee that it will save you on many, many occasions.

Once you have made a selection it stays “active” – you can see the selection outline often referred to as “marching ants”.  Any easy way to get rid of the selection is to touch Ctrl+D (on PC) or Cmd+D (on Mac) on your keyboard.

But what if you want to bring the selection back?  Easy . . . add the Shift Key to the the commands listed above (Shift+Ctrl+D on PC or Shift+Cmd+D on Mac)
